Brief History:

Scarborough Athletic FC currently plays it’s football 17-miles down the east coast at Bridlington Town’s Queensgate Stadium.
The club was formed by supporters’ society Seadog Trust following the liquidation of Scarborough FC in June 2007.

Word of Back2Boro begins to spread!

News of Scarborough Athletic's Back2Boro fund is spreading far and wide.

On the launch day yesterday, fund co-ordinator James Hunter was interviewed by Yorkshire Radio and BBC Radio York, and is due to appear on Yorkshire Coast Radio today, along with an appearance on Radio York on Friday morning's breakfast show.

And local station Yorkshire Coast Radio has given the scheme it's full backing, hosting a Back2Boro page on their own website here: http://www.yorkshirecoastradio.com/back2boro.php

Plans ahead involve a leafleting campaign at the Boro vs Bridlington FA Vase game, and the open forum after the AGM on November 27th, at Scarborough Bowls Centre, beginning at 7.30pm.
